Tonight’s project: Framing the Painting
I needed to get my new painting, The Apotheosis of War, ready for the upcoming First Friday Gallery Walk. So, I set aside some time tonight to finish framing it.
I needed to get my new painting, The Apotheosis of War, ready for the upcoming First Friday Gallery Walk. So, I set aside some time tonight to finish framing it.
Here is the new painting, an 18″ x 24″ acrylic painting. I named it “The Apotheosis of War”.
So, I decided to put all that anger and frustration into my artwork, and see if I can’t work out some issues.

Though J.M.W. Turner’s technique is certainly evident here, the tone of the piece isn’t one I expected.
